ZTE Skate, Gingerbread with 11.35 mm thickness

ZTE has announced that they had completed the first phase of the global launch of the latest flagship smartphone, ZTE Skate, in Hong Kong. The launch in Hong Kong is the launch of the first Skate in the Asia-Pacific region.

ZTE Skate with competitive pricing has a sleek design with a thickness of 11.35 mm, has a capacitive TFT screen measuring 4.3 inches with a resolution of 480×800 pixels, 3G, 5MP camera with LED flash, 800 MHz processor and weighs just 148 grams. Style design of this smartphone  with using Android 2.3 Gingerbread is inspired from skateboard shape.

ZTE Skate was first launched on 12 September in Brazil in partnership with the Brazilian operator, Vivo. Then Skate launched in Spain on 16 September as part of Madrid Fashion Week, in collaboration with a global operator Telefonica. Skate global launch will continue to be held this year in European countries including UK and France, in Asian countries including Malaysia, Indonesia, China, and in the United States.
